Cooper Young Historic District

Celebrate Cooper Young at the First Thursday Night Out from 5:00 – 9:00 pm the first Thursday of every month. First Thursday Night Out is when independent business owners stay open late, offer discounts and free live music all over the area. With 19 restaurants and over 35 retail/antique shops within walking distance, why not spend some time getting to know the hip merchants who make up Cooper Young.

At The House of Mews, adoptions are 50% off on First Thursdays (approved adoption application required).

It's a RED HOT SUMMER in Cooper Young! There will be music every Wednesday at the gazebo at Cooper and Young. June, July and August 2013 at 6:30 and 8:30 pm. We hope you come and support the Cooper Young neighborhood, home to The House of Mews!

Luna Nova Benefit Concert

Luna Nova Music is sponsoring the third annual benefit concert for the House of Mews. Featured on the program will be the Memphis Boychoir, the Memphis Men's Chorale, Ann Sharp and Jude Knight from Theatre Memphis, and Nobuko Igarashi, Matt Blake, Esther Gray Lemus, Wesley Emerson, Daniel Gilbert from Luna Nova.


Thanks to The Memphis Flyer and a story by reporter, Bianca Phillips, a few weeks ago The House of Mews has been adopted by Service Assurance Corporation!  ServiceAssurance, founded in 1989, and heavily involved in multiple charities in the Mid-South community, is the Mid-South's largest privately-held continuous provider of on-site remote technology services.


We were incredibly blessed to have a film crew from FOX TV13 (WHBQ) in our store to do a Public Service Announcement to help homeless animals in our community.  FOX Producer, Amanda Pannell, says the commercial will air repeatedly where time allows a


cat with violin
